The tension

A color collection inspired by the kawaii girls of Japanese subculture.

What I pushed for

I pushed hard for the combination of cute and weird that embodies kawaii culture: custom typography, some of my own illustrations, and ten more commissioned from the team Stupid Love. I designed the tee too.

What made it mine

It sold out quickly, with especially high demand in Asia and on the West Coast.
